The perfect diet for those that aren't. I lost the two pounds I had gained last week plus three more. You can't argue with that.

One thing I've learned this week is now I'm eating to live not living to eat.

I even had a Dairy Queen blizzard on the way home from work one day and a cheese burger and onion rings another time. Now that's not perfect is it? I only exercised twice for 30 minutes of cardio.

I love this diet!

Michelle, glad to see your back. And congrats on the lost pounds. I dont follow the South Beach diet to the letter myself. For me, it's a lifestyle change, not so much as a diet.

Thanks for noticing I hadn't been on in a while. I've been busy on the internet with my business and haven't been able to socialize here lately. I have to remember: All work and no play makes Michelle a boring person. Lifestyle change can be a slow process. We've done so much to trash ourselves it's hard to clean it up. One thing I learned recently is fat holds onto the toxins in our bodies. I want to give my body the best chance to thrive so I won't be a crippled old lady but a vibrant one. This way I can be sure to become a snow bird in the winter. My husband and I want to go to hit all of the southern states. If we come down to Florida, I will look you up. But of course we need to stay in contact for the next 20 years. LOL! How's the weather down there? We are finally getting over 80 today. Last year we hit 80 in the middle of May. Maybe I will have to take a practice trip just to see if I like it. :) Have a great day, Michelle
