Yes!!!! Stress is horrible. There are a few reasons why I think I'm finally losing again. I'm glad that wave of assignments is finally over. My honey and I had a staycation at a nearby beach for Valentine's weekend. I think that staycation helped me de-stress. It was beautiful to act silly on the sand and bike ride at the beach!
I saw a lecture by a medical researcher this week. It helped me in the preparation of a presentation I need to do in one of my classes. It was about children and health care. Well, the doctor / lecturer spoke about a few childhood epidemics, including child obesity. My ears perked up when he was talking about weight. He talked about difference reasons why he thinks this problem exists.
He said that spending time outside helps in weight loss! Just one hour a day in the sun, breathing the air outdoors, contributes to your overall health and can help you in your weight loss. What?!!!!!
I had heard about the benefits of being outside for decreasing stress, but the connection to weight loss never clicked. It makes sense, but I never thought of it!
The doctor prescribes fun in the sun and time outdoors for my weight loss journey. I love it. :)
