Keidrake's Journal, 23 August 2022

We are approaching 30lbs down, which was my mini-goal for August. The next goal is another 10 by the end of September. We shall see!

So a friend of mine encouraged me to go see her chiropractor and I had an appointment with them today. They did a xray of my neck,spine, and hips. Seems like I have some curvature in my spine in the upper back that I know I didn't have 6yrs ago, and the that I herniated 3-4 years ago is super thin now, which is to be expected. But oh my goodness, the adjustment felt great. And he did some decompression too. I'm a little sore tonight, but it still feel tons better than before I went. I actually took a nap today afterwards and I don't really take naps. Completely worth it.

I did hit the gym this morning too, but only for 30mins, since I needed time to shower and get to the chiropractor this morning as well. And also to review my 13yr old's school work in-between all of this.

Tomorrow is not a gym day since we have extra drop offs and pick ups for kids. With a need to focus more on lessons in the morning. I might be able to swing an afternoon walk around the neighborhood in addition to the stretches the physical therapist has me doing, but that depends completely on the weather.
