What a surprise this morning! Stepped on the scales holding my breath I'd at least maintained my loss from yesterday morning...actually went down another .6 lbs. 😀 That's after enjoying lunch & dinner out! No pics from dinner but it was very tasty. Chicken breast with goat cheese, green tomato chow chow & hickory barbecue sauce....hold the bun...& a side of kalettes...sautéed Brussels sprouts, kale & thick sliced hickory smoked bacon. Yummy! I also enjoyed a glass of red wine with lunch and a beer with dinner. I estimated the calorie content & with my cherry flavored Outshine ice pop (40 calories) I enjoyed after getting home, I came in at just over my 1500 RDI.
It's interesting both of my female friends I had dinner with commented on my choice of meal. One said something about my "Diet" when I declined a taste of her Tator Tots. Is it a "Diet" when you enjoy lasagna for lunch and choose to skip the bun for dinner...or just a better choice for maintaining that weight loss I've worked so hard for. And I have to say the one friend picked apart her burger bun leaving about half on her plate. The other ate half of her burger & tots, taking the rest to go. Since I intend to maintain my WOE I guess I'll get more comments in the future.
