Good morning, self and community: This morning I awoke to a terrible dream, so I took some time to center myself and came out on the other side. Yay! My weigh-in was up, Which by the way is OK, but I like to try to figure out what's going on. I had two chicken leg quarters for late dinner last night and suspect, once again that meat protein plus other meat goodies take longer to metabolize then tofu and veggies that I often eat. The other hypothesis is that I didn't get into a good restful state during sleep, reducing the hormones that help Metabolism. Ideas on this stuff welcomed!
In other news, I'll soon be outside the rental house project doing physical work in the lovely sunshine. It's a great thing. Then I come inside and kick off my "Great asset reduction" (GAR) project. (Selling off my shit via craigslist, eBay, donating to hospice store, whatever in order to get rid of my crap). Plus, I get to see my therapist and my epilepsy neurologist, back to back today, and best of all: FaceTime my boy before he goes to school.
My mantra today: "Grannies hoecakes= mmmmmm, gooood"
