Sigh..... We went to a conference in Charleston, SC this past weekend. Anyone who has been there knows that Charleston is a foodie city and a low carb *nightmare* with grits, potatoes, rice, and bread on every menu. Breakfast was easy. Lunch was OK (I did have a salad but still temptation abounded in Shrimp and grits, biscuits, and cobbler). Dinner was difficult. While we did a lot of waking (about 2 miles/day) just walking back and forth between where the conference was held, the church where we worshipped, and restaurants, it was not a great weekend for my food choices. Determined to keep on living the low carb lifestyle and back to doing induction as carefully as I can.
