Good morning, Friends!
Yup, weight is still consistently going up. I have no idea why.
I'm sticking to the diet. I'm exercising. I'm doing well.
By this rate I'll be back to 155 in a few weeks. lol.
I try to make lightly of it, but it's REALLY bugging me. I hate gaining weight. I hate that I feel my shirts getting tighter. I hate feeling weighed down.
I tried to get on my stationary bike this morning, but I simply didn't have the energy. I tried the exercise ball too, and same thing. I think I maybe got worn out from the last two days' intense (at least, compared to what I normally do) workout.
I'll take today as a recovery day, and pick up tomorrow. I think my body will appreciate that.
Today, will still be moving around more than I normally do. I start teaching Band Creation again, and I'm looking forward to doing it. It's always a blast - AND it's good money.
I'm gonna bicycle to work, and bike my way to the school. It's probably like 5 minutes on bike, but it's up hill ALL the way. Then again, of course, coming home will be a breeze. lol. Gotta love that.
Actually, I think when it comes to calories burned, I'm probably better off walking, but I really do want to get into the bicycling, and it's nice to save some time.
Music will of course have me standing up a few more hours today, carrying a 10 lbs guitar around and generaly move more. So I will burn a few extra calories. Nothing like what an hour's stationary bike will give me, but I figure that it's a good day to not ride.
Now, there is ONE thing that is positive about my weight loss. I do think I am filling out more nicely than when I weighed the came LOSING weight. It seems like it's a nicer look. I don't look skinny fat the same way, and I think I need to see this as a positive. It doesn't mean that I'm happy with my weight, though. I am in NO way happy with it. Just sayin'.
So today it's work, biking, more work (but fun work), more biking.
All meals are planned in advance, and I should be good to go.
Today, I'm thankful for: - Weight being lower today than yesterday - even if it's ridiculously high since last weigh-in. - Morning Coffee. - Starting up a new class.
Life is good!

Weird that your weight isn't going down. I always watch my fat and carbs when it happens to me but I am sure you must be on target with that stuff. Are you still holding fluids? You haven't mentioned it lately. I hope you are well and have a great day!

Dont fret keld, your day will come. Sounds like a nice day planned. I am resting my legs this week too.

do you think that maybe your body works against you because he is still in recovery mode? or maybe (just a thought) you need to rething your diet, because you had the surgery and your body is different now? just a thought.

I'm not sure WHAT it is, other than a pain in the rear. lol. It might simply be fluids, but it doesn't seem like it to me. To me, the way I see myself and the way I feel, I'm simply getting bigger. I'm hoping the added exercise will make an impact. I mean, after all, I had a ridiculous high weigh-in yesterday and I am lower than that today, even if I'm several kilos up from last weigh-in. I will keep truckin' on my Indulgence Day diet, with CONTROLLED indulgence days, and just add the workouts. I forgot my cell phone at home today, and decided to get it. So that added another 15 minutes on the bike - took a short, deliberate detour.

Bizarre KK.... I can appreciate how you must feel.... I can see you are still logging your food... I am sure you are, but... Are you weighing your food? It's just that, after a while, we get lazy and think we know the measure of stuff - and our portions get larger, without us knowing it. Hope it sorts itself out soon x

Pam, I weigh pretty much everything. For a while I didn't, but the last several weeks (after really feeling like getting my act together) I have. You're right, we get lazy, but I am doing good on this. When I do have to estimate, I try to be VERY conservative. I'm sure it'll sort itself out sooner or later.
