Walk this morning was quite surreal and very eerie. We've been shrouded in mist for the last 24 hours. It swirls and eddies and sometimes is quite thick and then thins in seconds. I could quite see how climbers get disorientated. There were no birds singing, no rustlings in the grass and hedges and sheep and lambs when I could see them were just standing there. Although not raining the mist is wet and the only sound was the dripping from the trees. Could have done with some windscreen wipers on my glasses as I kept having to stop and wipe my glasses. Eating today has gone well, lets hope simon reflects this tomorrow!
