May I ask, do you have smaller, intermittent goals? Say, you might now be looking for 279 lbs. Apologies if this doesn't make sense. I am from New Zealand living in Japan. We are metric. Your weigh in today showed up as as 130.2kg on my fatsecret. This seems to be 287 lbs. This is why I used 279 as a possible short term target. To get you into the 270s. Like in retail how they sell stuff for $99.99. It feels more than 1 cent cheaper than a dollar, so we are motivated.
To keep your mind on this number, 279, 2-79, Feb '79;

It snowed in the Sahara dessert for 30 minutes.
Hope this isn't too weird.
My short term target is 99.9 as the display on my wife's scales only has 3 digits so I haven't been able to post kgs to a decimal point. Looking forward to it. I will reassess from there.
Flip 999 over and you might see my motivation. The beast is there every time I want to bake some bread. Oh the smell of home cooked bread!

Thanks for the advice. I have 10 lb increments as goals. So everytime I cross a ten pound boundary, I feel it is a big success. The next one is crossing over from the 280's into the 270's. That will be a big deal for me.
