Thanks Erin, I was ecstatic. But Ive got fingers crossed girl!! We know how it can screech to a halt!

Oh ya I've been halted for 14 weeks but lost 5 lbs when I was sick with no appetite but have since put that 5lbs back on to where I was haulted for so long. Going to increase my 2 hr walks to 3 hrs and step up some more exercises I absolutely hate but should be doing more of. Maybe then just maybe I'll drop these last 7 for good

That same thing happened to me couple months back when I was sick too, Erin. Took forever to get back, +/- +/- like a roller coaster ride. I've had to basically give up bread and starch carbs. No rice, no potatoes, no pasta.. You know, all the good stuff 😅 You'll get back you're committed ❤️💪

Can you explain the 5/2 plan to me?
30 Jun 24 by member: MaryHberry
Mary, 5/2 is simply choosing 2 non-consecutive days a week to keep calorie intake at or below recommended 600 calories (but I go a little higher about 700) then back to what you have been doing on the remaining 5. So far so good for me.

That’s wonderful. Once we find what works with our bodies, weight loss isn’t quite as difficult (except for those nasty plateaus that get in the way).

I never heard of that plan, but it sounds good.

Holly I'm thinking I might have to do the same! No more bread no more pasta or potatoes. I'm going to try just fruit n veg and protein from now on ....well after dinner tonight lol I already decided I don't want to cook so the fiance is making burgers n fries.

Val, I find it hard to stick to rigid plans, but this way there are no complete fast days, no windows (which are hard for me to adhere to), and I can choose whatever two low cal days each week that I want. Really makes it easy to fit in. And I think it kind of tricks the body into feeling its ok to let go of some of that fat it tries to hold onto after being on a diet for awhile.

Erin, those have been the hardest things for me to cut back on. But it seems to have budged the stubborn plateau. I hope it continues, lol. Lucky you, how nice he makes supper for you sometimes!

Only bringing home bread labeled "Keto" (45 cal/slice, $4/loaf) has helped my weight, but not my budget.
