60 POUNDS LOST!!
I am more and more convinced that my body is a week behind in its weight loss, and I think this week proves it. 2.8 pounds lost in a week when my food was way out of control says I'm gonna have to pay close attention next week, so that I only have one bad weigh in next week.
But I'm SOOOO happy - in the 270s... I have never been in the 270s in my adult life... The last time I can remember weighing that, I was probably 14... it's so crazy!
Anyways... off to have breakfast and then a walk with my DH before it gets too hot today!

Thanks Everyone!! Going from 50 pounds lost to 60 pounds lost seemed to take forever! I imagine that's how it will be for the rest of my journey, so I need to just take advantage of my better healthier body and do some activities I haven't before, and stop focusing on the number on the scale as much (but again, easier said than done!).

Congrats Brandy!!! I find that my body is usually 1 - 2 weeks behind to find the real gain (water weight is almost immediate)... but if you are careful I am sure you can nip it in the bud quick... this is so exciting!!!

Thanks Pixi - but doesn't it drive you nuts that your body takes forever to drop the pounds? It makes it hard to evaluate how any change you make will impact your diet... but I've determined that slow and steady wins the race!
