Day 16 finished with a deficit of 600 calories and a little weight loss. I feel totally back into the diet zone now after two days of net zero I enjoyed my very wet run yesterday and planning on another run this morning - There is no wind or rain forecast this morning. That will be six days running in a row I can then have two days rest before a long run on Sunday. According to Garmin my fitness age now is just 20 - not bad for 64 - It was 72 six months ago. Yesterdays salvage of the washing machine drum was finished quickly - Very pleased with it. I want to bury into the ground a little and cut a hole down to pipe air to the bottom. It's known as a Dakota fire hole generally it produces less smoke and because it's underground it's quite a tidy looking thing for outdoor cooking. Also savaged yesterday was a massive piece of glass from one of those massive glass TV stands - Someone had fly tipped it and I spotted in the hedge row 3 miles from home a few days ago. So I drove out and manhandled it into the car - Golly it was very heavy and much larger than I thought, it was so large it fitted in sideways with millimetres to spare and then stuck a long way out the back of my Ford KA hatchback. The plan is to make a very large cloche. Today I have promised to tidy the garage as It's now a complete tip and not been tidied for months. Have a good one

Yes - Even the pipes and heaters etc were in good nick - Soft water here in Devon though.
I've always thought that using calgon for 3 years costs more than a washing machine
