So I got my nerves together and got myself on the scale. THe surprise is that I lost weight (even though I feel fatter than ever, and think my face and neck are particularly bloated...which is weird). The weight loss is good. unexpected, but good. I believe the last time I was in the neighborhood of the 180's was.....maybe 2007-2008 when I was doing weight watchers religiously (but still binge eating). The not great news is that my blood pressure is higher than usual and I probably should make an effort to see my GP and see if she wants to do the yearly poke and prod on me. I don't want to do it right now though since she alwasy makes me feel terrible and I'm trying to manage my depression to a level that I can at least function. I dunno.
