Yeah. We'll see what happens, Bill. Those 4 breakfast free days are obviously IF. I'm not sure what's harder, the 1400 calorie day or the 1200 gr carb day. It was fun at times, but over all, it was kind of gross.

Yes, the carbs gave me a lot of energy. I am up from 184 pounds, hit 189, now dropping on maintenance. Depletion part of the cycle starts tomorrow.

In this context, depletion means to lower your glycogen levels in the muscle (stored carbohydrate basically) by reducing how much carbohydrate you eat and by using the muscle to burn the glycogen that remains.

It's a matter of keeping the metabolism up. The extreme low calories on the other days slows over all metabolism. That's the theory.

Are you going to continue with this heavy carb thing?

Yeah. I committed to two weeks and will stick to it. If I drop below my last low weight, I will go again. I'm also watching the calipers. If they drop but weight is the same, I'll take it and do it again. :)

I guess you know what is best. Aren't you feeling bloated eating all those carbs?

It's all over, Brenda, and that after the hubris of my comment two above. Augh. Yeah, it was pretty gross. I think it may just be a way bodybuilders came up with to have a carb blotto once in a while.

So what are your plans now? Do you still fast?
