Spring is right around the corner. Lots of walks and hikes and being out doors. That always helps.

It’s ok to have a bad day, a bad week. Just don’t let it turn into a bad month or months. Remember we are only human. Keep your head up and stay moving forward. Stay positive and keep a good attitude.

Honestly, I doubt that the scale is accurate to 2/10's of a pound (I could be wrong.) My personally feeling is that we are many times too hard on ourselves. Be kind to yourself, as you would be to others. Plus, rest is vital, really. But how much rest does a momma get. Not much. Hang in there! Keep at it. Never give up. The future is bright!

Thanks you guys! Spring will help! Winter always depresses me...and owing lots of money to taxes haha. Financial stress is always depressing. I’m trying to stay positive...this too will pass.

Oh I feel you. Just got the news I owe 4000. Not a happy camper right now either 😢

If you're not exercising, try to add some simple walking to your routine. Start with 30 minutes outside or on a treadmill, if it's too cold for you. Doubled my rate of weight loss over dieting alone.

Yup. Did my taxes in this past Saturday. Events of the last few years have not been beneficial in many ways, finances being one. What me worry? Truthfully, the idea of doing them was stressful, and I wanted to put it off, but dragons must be slain before they become fire-breathing, so I got to it, and yes, I owe. Next year will be better. Well, unless the unforeseen happens, and well, I'm starting to expect "the unforeseen." Haha. No, drive back the chaos one day at a time, that's all you can do. It will get better!

Taxes will make anyone sick and depressed.....Find a food or supplement that can give you a quick boost of energy for a couple of days. I know lack of sunshine and poor weather will make you feel terrible as well. Try and get out into some light or sit or walk in a brightly lit environment for a bit and should help raise serotonin levels. Wishing you a speedy turn around.

Momma6224, your weight loss pattern over time looks a lot like mine did from July to October 2017 -- sort of scalloped, but a steady decline. I found that not weighing daily and not logging my food on FS allowed me to slip and slide, until I finally stopped FS'g altogether on 12/7. Not good! Then, on January 2nd, I had foot surgery for serious complications of diabetic neuropathy. (I think my walking cast, my 4th cast, will come off on Wednesday, finally!) My husband has been wonderful, but he indulged my requests for ice cream and cookies. After I was able to drive again, I went nuts for a week or so -- at least a pint of ice cream a day and blood sugar topping out at 435 mg/dL. I CANNOT HEAL -- OR LIVE -- LIKE THAT, LITERALLY. So, I weighed myself for the first time on March 13th and found I'd only gained 11.5 pounds. I thought it was at least 20. That encouraged me. I'm back on the wagon. My average BS is back down to 165 mg/dL (and falling). I know that, when I manage my BS well, I can't help but lose weight. So, Momma, hang in there! It's tough to stay the course when you begin to slip, but you'll find your footing again!

Thanks guys! I do exercise 4-5 days a week for about 30 min at a time. I haven’t quit or even cheated at all I just have my moments when I want to...especially when I don’t see the scale reflect my effort. Winter will end, taxes will somehow get paid and life will go on. I am very blessed so I need to focus on those blessings and be more grateful for the good in my life. I so appreciate your encouragement and support! Thank you all.

Warm weather is on the way, beautiful, and we can get through the "meh" feelings much faster when that happens. Sending you my love!!

Thanks glen! I’m happy to help if I can although I’m just kind of winging it haha! There’s definitely a learning curve and things don’t always work as expected. Good luck to you!

it happens to all of us, just ride the wave, and come back on top. I have been "meh" too lately, but I keep plugging away.

Thanks sinnabunz and little red fox! I will keep plugging away. I’ve come too far to quit and not far enough to quit if that makes sense haha! I so appreciate the support!
