I was actually up to 325 the week before last, and am back down to 320 today. Don't know what that was about, but I can tell the water and healthier eating is changing my body. My bracelets fit better, my neck isn't as wide and my pants are falling down. All good news. At this point the weight doesn't matter as much as feeling like I'm making progress.

The more progress I make, the more progress I want to make.

Next week I'm making an appointment with a registered dietician. I need some more structure and more information about what I should eat and what I shouldn't. Now that I'm not drinking coke and eating chips for dinner every day I want to know what of the healthier foods are even healthier: without eating nothing but greenage.
320.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 121.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

What a registered dietitian will give you is the food pryamid. That is what mine gave me. It is a regular eating structure which will show you what and how many servings of each food group you need. I have been on it for over a year now. My starting weight was 342 and I am down to 306. Still a long way to go but I am making great progress. I started at 1600 calroies and am now down to 1400 calories. I do not call it a diet I call it an eating regiment. Portion control. I eat every 2.5 hours. I prepare all my foods and even eat out as well. I Just make sure I eat the portions I am supposed to. It is hard at first but after the first three weeks you get the hang of it. By a scale for your meat. That is important. I use my scale everyday and I always make sure I measure everything out while I prepare my meals. It is time comsuming but once you get the hang of it, it goes faster. You learn and it makes things and life easier. Do not be afraid of failure. Rome was not built in a day.
