You have done a splendid job achieving your goal. I guess you are now learning how to stay and maintain. This could be tricky. Well done.

I started out at nearly 120 kgs. I had a stomach problem which was corrected. I lost a lot of weight but lost track because one of my kids told me that I looked bad. I put some weight on but the hip and sciatica pains came back. So I decided to lose the weight again. I am not worried about adjusting my diet. I don’t eat as much as I did before, and I’m not a big drinker. I’m really happy that I can wear my clothes again and have no hip pain. In sum, I’m not worried about putting weight on, probably more to the point I’m worried about losing more. I now weigh what I weighed when I was as young. I never want to get fat again.

Today I consumed 1,966 calories, including 450 for tea and cake at a restaurant. That is probably less than my calorie consumption, even with the cake. If I had left out the cake, I would be seriously dieting. It’s a fine dividing line when you are eating less. It’s a once a week treat. I don’t know whether I would have eaten enough, if I hadn’t had the cake. I don’t want to live my life without things like that. I suppose it is hard to balance things out.
