Bought a new scale. It is more accurate, but what a disappointing result. I guess I weigh more than I thought.

It's just a different number on a different scale! Don't let it bother you. Keep doing what you are doing! :)

Scales are all calibrated differently and you can get a different number (although it should be within a few pounds of each other) on each scale. The flooring also effects the scale (should be on a hard level surface). Just start fresh and stay with the new scale as your "official" scale to accurately gauge your weight loss.

Just remember you didn't put this weight on, this is still the same you, only calibrated more accurately. This is a maintenance. Not a true gain.
