Hey there! I use the app to log my food and weight Ins everyday. So to answer your question, it works as long as you do the work. 😉 I love this tool. The food database is expansive and it’s also easy to edit or add foods that are missing or outdated. We are creatures of habit so you’ll find yourself adding the same foods a lot, which makes things easier as you go along. Great community, too. Welcome aboard. 🎉

I'm not sure I understand how the app works can you help me understand ? :) I know were supposse to eat X amount of calories a day but in order to lose weight, don't we need to eat less? I'm used to WW app (weight watchers) and it worked with points. You were allowed to have only certain amount of points per day.

Yes essentially you have to decide on a number of calories to eat per day. There are online calculators that can help you with that. I personally aim for 1500 to 1600 cals per day and I see results. I don’t know your situation and I’m not qualified to advise you on how much to eat. That being said, I strongly suggest you aim for a number of cals that is filling and sustainable for the long run. Best of luck!

FS rated me for 1700 calories but to lose weight I found I needed to drop that to 1400.

I’m 5’8” and currently just over 200 lbs; I can lose 1 or 2 pounds of weight per week *IF* I stay under 1600 kcal/day.
