I've been doing really well this week, so it's weird that my weight has bumped up. *sigh*
(Later in the day)
I'm remembering Rosie O'Donnell back in her stand-up comedy days. She said she was on Weight Watchers and was allowed 200 "free" calories a day. She said she drank two "lite" beers and didn't care about the diet anymore!
I get like that sometimes. I'll eat a "cheat" food and then think, "Well, in for a penny, in for a pound" and eat more. It's nonsense.
With this go-round of dieting I'm making a conscious effort to not even start. It's just too darn easy to get sucked back into my bad habits. Faithfully logging every gram of food I eat is making an enormous difference in training my brain.

I know, it's just this day. My exercise today was spent on 3 hours in the dentist chair shaking from nerves. I HATE the dentist. Now my mouth is either numb or hurt so I can't eat, win-win, right? My dentist is next door to a Wendy's and it's only because my mouth was dead that I didn't dive right into a double Dave's.

What I end up doing is comparing how much I ate with how much I lose per week. When the scale didn't go down over the course of 7 days (recording/weighing weekly), and I was consistent with what I ate, recording every bite which you are doing, then I had to start cutting out calories. Right now I am down to 1300-1400 average per day. One of the benefits of being on Fatsecret is that you can see what is working and what is not working. Good luck!

Well, at the risk of being indiscreet and giving you too much info, a VERY successful trip to the bathroom followed my post. I think tomorrow's weight will be different! Gotta' let my body do its thing.
