It's always something! We bought an older Airstream & spent time redoing it....new wood floors & carpet, new curtains & reapholstered the window valances & did new decor. We were on a trip up to Canada & stopped at an RV dealership that Hubby knew from way back. There was a couple there downsizing from a 5th Wheel to a new Airstream. They let us take a look & we fell in love with the floor plan. Next thing you know, we were negotiating a trade for a new one for ourselves 😁 We special ordered the decor & went back to pick it up later. Sadly, we sold it a few years ago. I miss traveling in it with our dogs.

Super, you made me laugh!! Sadly, my muscles are turning to mush! I have had a really hard time working out regularly. Travel days are impossible to get a work out in. We are traveling about every other day and on days we don't we are busy sightseeing etc. It's been frustrating for sure. But, thanks for the smiles!

Diana, boys and their toys! You are going to arrive home with a new rv my love😂. Hubs would be so mad he would get rid of it mid-trip unless i could talk him down. I think i told you the story of the heated seats going out in our truck and he wa so annoyed he wanted to get a new one then and there. Been a really good truck so that was silly. 1200 repair or 75,000 on a truck. Yeesh. You do have good neighbors!!!!! How long have you lived there? Our neighbors would shut off the main but cant see them watering our yard for us. That’s a lovely thing. How much longer till you head home?

YOH, You are so right about those boys and their toys! I think we bought a new RV! I talked Joe into going home to talk about it but he is adamant. I am getting worn down...we did find a beautiful one. I didn't like the one we saw yesterday. Oh man....one more bill to pay...😬🩷

Storms, Yes, we have been in our house a long time as have those 2 neighbors. It's funny cause when we all worked we didn't know them that well but we all retired about the same time and then we got to know each other better. Now Joe and my one neighbor are best friends. We will definitely take care of them when we get home. 🩷🩷
And yes we do have each other and honestly he is my best friend. We are together a lot but we each have our own time too. I think that is healthy for our relationship.😀🩷

lol. It’s only money 😂. If I wasn’t adamant about leaving a big nest egg for my child (well and hubs as he is def way younger) i would feel differently about indulging. I think being homeless when young made me so frugal on big ticket items yet when i was working i thought nothing of spending a couple thousand a month on shoes and clothes. Now im kind of sick about that massive waste over so many decades. An rv will last for years and years and bring you great memories. I wore clothes once or twice and gave them to the cleaners after. See what i mean? Perspective.

YOH, Yes you are right ...it is really pretty! The countertops in it are prettier than what I have in my house! It's roomier as well. We'll see who wins this one ..I have a feeling it will be Joe.😀😀😀

Wow! You are so lucky to have such wonderful neighbors. I really don't know my neighbors well. My next door neighbor is nice enough but I call her Mrs. Kravitch (remember Bewitched?) because she knows everything that everyone is doing, especially me with my house for sale. A new RV sounds like fun and expensive. But you will get your money's worth out of it
