We went to the sales yesterday at Highpoint and had dinner at the dumpling place on the ground floor. It obviously must have had some of their ‘special salt’ in it. Now it’s going to take a week to get it out of my system. It’s my fault because I know their food is laced with MSG. When you cook it at home you can’t get that particular salty flavour.
181.9 lb Lost so far: 8.6 lb.    Still to go: 13.9 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thanks. I’m ok. I had a bit to eat on Christmas Day, but I didn’t have dinner. I just went over what I usually eat by 500 calories. The MSG thing annoys me. Chinese restaurants use it by the bucket load. It’s the reason why you drink so much tea and water there. Anyway, I start training again tomorrow after a rest that I needed. Don’t worry about it Robbiejoh, your metabolism will respond well to the occasional blowout in caloric intake. I have way exceeded my target in the last few days and expect to pay for it with some weight gain. But I have also decided not to weigh myself for the Christmas to New Year period, just stick to my eating and exercise plan for the remainder of that time and see how I’m doing on 1 January.
