It never ceases to amaze me just how off the rails I am capable of and just how extensive the damage can be! This week I managed to gain 8 pounds in 3-4 days! Oh my God! What I can pull off!
Today I plan to return to mostly normal eating. I still have company and it will continue to be challenging however I must rein myself in sooner rather than later. All company will be gone tomorrow except for my granddaughter. I want to see what semblance of sanity I can pull off by Jan 1. I am hoping I can drop at least half of the damage. We will see.
Other than the delicious food train wreck.... I had a fabulous Christmas. My whole family was able to gather at my home. They stayed overnight a number of nights in a variety of combinations. It was such a joy to have comfortable beds available to them. I loved entertaining in my renovated home! First time with everyone present.
There were lots of board games and card games played, Christmas tunes from my husband's extensive Christmas music collection and just plain enjoying each other's company.
