texasdeb's Journal, 28 April 2010

A little disappointed that I only lost 3 pounds this week. Have been stuck not losing any pounds in four days but took measurements this morning. Didn't know until a few days ago that I should measure approximately 1" below belly button also but now have that to use for comparison next week.

Bust/chest = lost 3/4 inch
Waist = lost 3 1/2 inches
Hips = lost 1 inch
upper arms = lost 1/2 inch
thighs = 1/2 inch
Weight = lost 9 pounds

Not bad. Today while driving to babysit, I felt this real "lightness" around my mid section and back. It feels so nice. I remember the last time I did this way of eating, everytime I would get to a weight that ended in "0", my body would refuse to let me get down that one pound for what seemed like forever. Those weights ending in zero were like a milestone challenge for me and I REALLY wanted to see it go down one pound to get down to the next lower "decade", so to speak. I am going to stay on induction for two more weeks the re-evaluate everything at that time to see if I'm ready to move on to OWL.

3 pound weight loss a week is something I'd be ecstatic about. I know you lost more in the beginning but remember that it was primarily water weight. What you are losing now is all fat! It will not be these fast all the time. Be patient and it will come off.
