Puttered around the house inside & outside today. I did a load of laundry, finished my book & started a new Netflix series....Ginny & Georgia.
Finished the day @ 1502 calories. I made a skillet dinner in the oven tonight. Really filling & tasty.
Someone a few days ago commented on a post that food should be fuel, not eaten for pleasure. Or something along those lines. I know food is fuel for our bodies & we need to make choices that have nutrients. But, who says we shouldn't enjoy what we eat, as well? I know if I eat food that tastes good & also has nutrients, I'm satisfied & more able to stick with a plan.
I bought peaches, nectarines, a mango & avocados a few days ago. None of them were ripe yet, so I left them all in the fruit bowls to be ready to eat. I only bought 2 each of the peaches & nectarines cause they were really large & I wasn't sure if they'd be good. All of them are ripe & taste SO good! The mango is the best I've had lately. Every bite of my morning fruit combo has made me smile.
Time to tidy up the kitchen & get to bed.
Tomorrow is Gym day 💪
