So I've been tracking my food since Monday I believe. At least, I feel even just tracking my food is doing something. I'm becoming very aware of what I have been eating. At the same time, I know what foods have been filling me up, and what foods I could probably be better off if I didn't eat.
The next step is actively tracking my weight... this is the hard part. Especially because I got on the scale this morning and I weighed 154.8 lbs. I swore I would never be here again. I got so close after 2 years of watching what I ate and exercising I got down to 128 lbs, and I felt really good. In the last year, I've managed to gain almost 30 pounds! How does that happen?? (Answer: I eat too much)
I've been eating more fruit if that is any consolation. :) I really like fruit because it's sweet, so I am getting the sweet kick and being healthy at the same time. This week and last week I haven't ran too much, but I'll get back on track next week. I want to get my 5K under a half an hour (it feels like I've been saying that forever).
It's Saturday though, so here's to getting to sleep in and being a bum for the day! Hope everyone else has a good weekend!
