well good grief i feel my weight loss has slowed to an absolut crawl! kinda depressing but after reading keli's journal this morning i am feeling a bit better about it! just dont think i am doing somthing right if i have slowed so badly i know my calories are low but it seems that if i increase then i gain! not discouraged enough to quit but back to feeling like i need to kick the cat lol just don't know what to try seems like i am exersizing all the extra time i have but its really not enough i should show more improvement than i am in my abality how to push past where i am now and to improve instead of just doing what is comfortable?????? its not exersize if its become routine right?

Hey, you lost 3 pounds last week - that is spectacular! It's definitely not a slow loss. No, it's not a quick as it probably was in the beginning, but the typical weight loss is 1-2 pounds a week. I would be thrilled if I was guaranteed a 2 pound a week loss. I know we live in a world of instant gratification and when we want something - we want it now! But remember that it was the tortoise that won the race, not the hare. If it helps, try recording your losses on 1 day of the week instead of daily. Its really nice to see a big loss than a bunch of littler (is that a word?) ones. You are doing a great job my friend.

I weigh every day and often several times a day! I am completely addicted to it. But I have had my daugher or DH hide it from me. Not only is it nice to record a good loss once a week, but it's even better just seeing it once a week. Ask someone in the house to hide it for you. Relax and go on with how you are feeling and not the numbers.
