What’s a weight loss plateau? That’s just for people who don’t know how much they are eating and mess up their diet

Good post Dr. Sue!! Harmless, I must be one of those people who don't know how much they are eating then...I went through several plateaus on my way to my goal weight, one was almost a month long...lost a belt hole and visible fat during the longer plateau but the scale was not moving. I think plateaus and short term weight upticks are almost inevitable at some point in the weight (fat) loss process. In my opinion, a good long term strategy and perseverance are pretty key to getting through plateaus and hitting our long term goals (maintenance).

Harmless, this site is to support our group. This is the second post I have seen that is not in the spirit of FS. You have the right to speak your mind; but many of us have or have had a long journey to reach our goals. 💚

I agree too Steven. I also think that once in maintenance short term weight upticks are inevitable too. That is why I find FS so helpful...

Agreed John, maintenance isn't a finish line just a new beginning :-)
