Epley maneuver. Look it up on YouTube. Also saw a pt person for vertigo as well as an ent. In my case it was inner ear crystals apparently. Normally resolves in a couple of weeks but not in my case. Ive also had episodes of dizziness since i was a teenager but this was different. Vomiting, loss of consciousness causing a head split and stitches which sent me to the hospital where extensive testing found nothing so by process of elimination must have been inner ear crystals.

YOH yes me too. No passing out though. Thank GOD! That sounds horrifying. I tried the maneuvers but they don’t typically work for me and this time made me vomit. I take meclizine OTC and it helps. I’m going to go to the dr next week and see if he will give me a Rx of scopolamine and I’ll try it next time. It’s the worse though dizziness. I also noticed if I keep my eyes closed I can move enough to make it to the bathroom etc…

Epley maneuver if you have benign positional vertigo...otherwise keep searching...vertigo is a warning something is wrong...good way to fall and hit head or break your hip...

Make sure to check your blood pressure, high blood pressure caused dizziness for me, got my blood pressure under control and the dizziness went away.

P$m have you seen a doctor for this at all? You need to rule out the scarier options, tumors, disease and so on. They gave me a prescription for vomiting also forgot what it was called tho. Sure do wish you luck.

YOH yes I’ve been diagnosed. My dad’s a dr. My mom had the same problem. There’s no real cure for it. The crystals move sometimes. I find it happens mostly when I do yoga the side planks but of course I don’t avoid them. Maybe I should since it’s the few times that it is the worst. Other times not so severe is when it happens in my sleep. Thanks. Just talking it out made me realize why do I still do side planks if it can cause this. There are other moves I can do for my obliques.

Dianna the maneuver doesn’t always work for me. And this time just made me feel worse

Fats my blood pressure is managed and stable so it’s not that. My BP does spike when I’m not feeling well so it’s kind of counter intuitive to test while I’m still sick.
