the scale is stupid.
173.4 lb Lost so far: 24.8 lb.    Still to go: 23.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

the scale IS stupid. Agreed.

The scale totally sucks. I've had a lot of epiphany moments regarding the scale lately - feel free to peruse my last few journal entries :)
