Good morning! Woke hungry this morning as yesterday was a low cal day. Had "breakfast" at 2 pm, and dinner by 730. Pretty small window for me. Trying to nail down a good IF schedule that works for me. Going to give the 5:2 plan a try and see how that goes. Hope everyone is inching closer to their goals. It's a beautiful day! Make it great, peeps! xo

Hi Glamper. IF stands for Intermittent fasting. Im tryingnew things to try to rev up my metabolism

I have not done the 5:2 plan. I try for the 16:8 daily plan and seldom make it. Blood sugar won't cooperate. I'm too active to go that long without eating. I can always do 12 hours which is supposed to be the least daily I.F. for it to work and sometimes 13 and 14 but not much longer than that as I have had hypoglycemia for years.

Oh definitely with hypoglycemia I can see where that would be a problem. My son and two daughters have hypoglycemia. The 5:2 might be easier since you really only restrict calories on any two non-consecutive days. Still you might need to up the calories a little more than the 500/600 recommended if it affects your blood sugar. It's a tough balancing act for sure

My doctor would nix the 500/600 calories for sure. I get in 10,000 steps minimum every day. I have had too many close calls.

Not worth it. My kids have given me some pretty scary close calls. Worst time my son was in convulsions. You know your body, no diet is worth that risk. Take care of YOU.

I try not to eat anything in the evening after supper and have breakfast around ten am. If I keep my calories between one thousand and eight hundred a day I should lose weight.

I just eat dinner so late in the summer months. I find it very hard to get it made any earlier. You're doing great Glamper!

If you are eating late, make it your smallest meal of the day.

That's an idea, Glamper. Thought occurred to me if I eat a big breakfast late and skip lunch entirely I'll be hungry enough to eat supper early .. Who knows! 😂 Hope you're enjoying the weekend.
