If it can jump while you're standing on it you've lost too much weight. Sorry, had to say that, the devil made me do it. I'm sort of a free range for his little activities and I get all the retributions for his little fun.
I know exactly where you're coming from, with me it's the prospect of being able to look down and actually see my belt buckle, as well as the scales that is becoming one of the goals and rewards I'm anticipating.
I was wondering if that freeze was hard enough and long enough to freeze up the lake? There is an old photo that I saw of the Columbia near my home that was frozen over in the early 1900's, and that was with people and vehicles able to cross safely.
