Maybe it had sugar. Did it have a label?

Restaurants can be so tricky to maneuver. They do like to add sugar to a lot of stuff

The dressing for the Greek salad was on the side. The cucumber salad is supposed to have only vinegar. I should ask about the ingredients or eat at home.

Yeah Gyro meat is closer to Meatloaf. Lots of stuff added to hold everything together.

You are not alone. The meat is like a salt bomb. 💣

It was pretty salty but it paired well with the crunchy fresh veggies. I read in their site the chicken is gluten free so I might try that the next time and see if I get the same reaction.

So true, Marx! When I make turkey loaf at home I leave out the breadcrumbs and use only eggs! Eating at home for 5 weeks isn’t so bad. There is always in-n-out if I need a double double protein style, no spread, no ketchup with mustard. 😋😋😋

Moopie, I had trouble with the chicken as well.

I'll add some almond flour but my meatloafs (meatloaves??) are mainly eggs and meat and no sugar. Adding a mix of ketchup and black bean paste inside and as a glaze rocks however.
