how often does everyone weigh in? and do u see fluctuations in ur weight during the week, even when there is a loss on the final weigh in? or is it just me?
269.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 19.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I usually weigh in every morning. But I know that the scale can change hourly for many reasons (hormones, sodium in food, beginning a new exercise program or changing an existing one, etc). The scale can go up many pounds from a morning weigh-in to a night time weigh-in (all the food and drink we ate during the day). If you do weigh-in every day, just keep in mind all the things which can make you go up and down. The most important thing is an overall downward trend, not a daily downward trend. You are doing great! Do whatever works for you. If weighing in daily makes you crazy, just stick to once a week. Good luck!

yeah i have been checking too often i think. i am always hopping on there, like every couple of hours. mainly just today tho. i have been pretty good. i was only going on like every couple of days, but i had an incident today that alarmed me. i hopped on, weight was 269 then got undressed for a shower and it jumped to 275. so i dont kno what is going on...maybe it is broken....

If you are going to weigh yourself each day, you should try to do it at the same time each day and only once a day... otherwise you will drive yourself crazy.... I try to weigh myself every morning right after I get up and before I shower... then don't look at the scale again until the next day... It is amazing how it can fluctuate a lb or two each day... but don't let it get you down... It is the gradual weight loss that usually stays off...
