I wanted to Weigh also but I'm still trying to stay strong, I'm eating as well as I can but still having 1 serving of carbs daily which I'm not crazy about but it is a big cut back for me.

Great drop!! Finding what works for you is what works best!

Way to go! I think I know what you mean. I weigh everyday, but only "count" it once every two weeks. It feels more productive that way to see the downward trend rather than the daily fluctuations.

Excellent loss - use a measuring tape, too. You will be amazed at the inches you lose as well.

Don't stress either way. Do what you know works, with full determination, then watch your clothes get looser. No need to weigh in at all!

Whatever you are the most comfortable with. If not weighing in is that difficult for you and stresses you that much it's not worth it. Losing the weight can be hard enough sometime, you don't need the added stress.
Good luck, stay strong, you are doing great.

Do you realise what a great job you are doing? Keep up the good work.
FWIW I discovered that keeping a calorie diet record reinforces the assurance of progress, and makes it easier to stay away from the scale.
In simple terms, it takes 11 calories of energy to sustain 1 pound of body weight for 1 day. For a 300-pounder (like I used to be), that means (11x300=) 3300 calories. Today it means (203x11=)2233 calories. As long as I keep my consumption under 2233 calories, I will not gain wait over time. I may fluctuate from day to day with water and accumulating waste, but over time I will lose weight if I keep my caloric intake below my sustaining consumption.
I am working right now on a 1600 calorie diet. I weigh twice a month. I have NEVER NOT lost weight while sticking to the calorie count. Twice my loss was less than 1 pound; twice (in the past year) it was more than 5.
Counting the calories and keeping the journal is tedious, but for those of us for whom losing is a serious endeavour, the result is worth the effort.
Good luck, loser!
