Life is precious. Glad you’re still with us. Best of luck on your goals! It’s not for everyone, but I was able to lose over 30 lbs doing keto a few years ago without exercising. Now I’m not so strict, but I also hit the gym pretty hard. There are definitely options... not sure if low impact workouts (bands, pool, etc) are an option for you, but they have been good for me.

I may try some arm weights and some planks and stomach exercises. I can ride a bike when I can go back into a gym. I don't have much of a heel on my right foot so elliptical and treadmill is out! Plus I will be back in a wheelchair soon. So I'm trying tracking food first. Thanks for the support!

I do some walking but not much. I am going to try some exercises on the mat. I will just have to take it slow. I had to start over again walking and it took a long time so I am used to slow progress. I will just do my best. I'm in no hurry😁. Thank you all for the well wishes.

welcome back. first I'm so thankful your alive. God has saved me from myself so many times it makes me wonder why im so important to him. several years ago I was stopped at a light and hit from behind by a drunk driver doing about 60 the police estimated. escaped with a skull full of glass and a dislocated shoulder. at the time I refused to use seat belts. (pretty stupid huh?) anyway. you will be amazed at how much of this is simply our way of eating. that's the reason I'm look better at 43 than I ever did at 20. tracking my macros. weight training for me but exercise in general is great but that doesn't do everything without proper fuel. have fun and blessings to you.

Aloha and God bless you! My close call; about 5 yrs ago, I was driving to stock up on water before a hurricane. On my way, I passed out and totaled my van (cardiologist said it was from dehydration). I was so thankful to be alive, I ate whatever I wanted. Now my weight is up and I’ve forgotten how to eat healthy. So my point is this, we belong to a special community that supports each other. No judgment and just best wishes to live our best life.

I keep hearing success to weight loss is 80% diet and 20% movement.
So I focus on eating, walking and kettle bells sprinkle in a bit if dancing exercise videos.
Every day I feel better...
Good luck. Take care of yourself.

Be careful and take your time while stretching. I agree with Jershie, bands are great for people who sit. They can be knotted at one end and slipped btw door and door frame above hinge then shut door. If above top hinge, arms can pull downward. If knot is above bottom hinge arms can pull upward, leg loops made and legs can use them too. Of course hand weights or big food cans work well while sitting. I use hands weights while on my semi recumbent stationary bike.
Ck ads for a bike for home use.
Thankful you still have a life ahead of you. Be happy with little accomplishments each day. Start a thankful daily journal or meditation to keep your sanity. Hang a bird feeder outside a window to watch while you're wheelchair bound. Spring n more birds coming.
