Gotta love that green arrow! I did my five mile walk with my friends yesterday... It wasn't as difficult as last time, so I'm improving! My legs are definitely getting stronger and leaner. Between exercising more and eating right, the weight is slowly coming off. Last week, I started intermittent fasting (16:8), and honestly, I love it! Funny, I used to skip breakfast naturally, but after so many people preached to me that it was "bad" to skip, I started forcing myself to eat it. Moral of the story: Trust your instincts, they're usually right! Hope everyone has a great week 🙂

Are you skipping only breakfast?

Yes. I usually eat between 12 pm and 8 pm (basically lunch, snack, and dinner). That's what seems to suite me best. In the morning, I drink a large glass of warm water with lemon in the morning, followed by a cup of black coffee. Then, until lunch, I drink water or unsweetened green tea.

Jess...your story is my story. same feelings about breakfast and the 18:6 IF. Amazing how good we can feel when we just stop and listen to our bodies. I'm happy for your success!! Way to go!

I think the reasoning behind having to have breakfast is that too many people skipped breakfast and then doubled up on the "junk" calories at lunch and dinner, and later. If you eat good food and skip the "gallon of ice cream for dessert," your body will tell you when it needs feeding!

I used to skip breakfast as well, not feeling any different while not skipping it though. I want to start doing heavy walking exercises, but I have a tendon problem in my left leg, shame :( All in all, awesome, keep up the good work!

I'm not a breakfast person either and when I tried to "do the right thing" I actually more during the day. IF seems like it might work for me as well. Keep it going!
