Taking a short break before it's time to prepare dinner for the dogs & us. My house is full of twinkling lights....inside & out. ☺ I've done the front porch (that may need some finishing touches) & this year I draped garland & lights on the deck railing outside the kitchen window. We can see it inside, so it looks cheerful, even on cloudy days. Inside the mantel is done, there are lights & garland on the stairs bannister, the dining room is decorated except the table & the tree is up in the dining room with lights, beaded garland & ribbon...no ornaments yet. I've done a little bit in the kitchen but it needs finishing touches. I've been getting exercise climbing up & down to reach higher areas, running up & down the stairs to see if the garland is draped evenly & climbing up & down the attic stairs. I almost skipped today's walk but decided to go with Hubby. I've had the Christmas Carols playing 🎶🎵🎶🥁🎺, scented candles burning🕯🌲getting into the zone. Hoping to get it all wrapped up in the next 2 to 3 days.
We're having tuna salad sandwiches & lobster bisque for dinner. Hubby asked why we hadn't eaten any of the multipack of tuna we bought at Costco, so he's getting his wish.
