Well, I joined the gym, kept my calories from 1200-1500 and busted my butt all week to GAIN a pound. That's discouraging and makes feel like I'm going to cry. 😥

I wrote on another ladies post this morning that had practically the same issue you're having. I won't write it exactly the same again. But at your current weight. Dropping your calories that low is really a a bad idea. You want to strategically lower them over time. I'm not sure what your calories were initially at the weight you got to. But just say you were eating 3000 calories a day. You wouldn't want to drop nearly 1700 to 1800 down. You would slowly start your deficit by lowering your calories to say 2600 then when you hit a plateau again you'd lower then again to say 2200. Are you measuring everything you put in your mouth? Are you working out any? Because those things are crucial when were attempting to reshape our bodies. Lots of water, good sleep [at least 7 to 8 hrs] amongst other things. Also I mentioned to her to keep an eye on her/your sodium intake. So you know you're not retaining water. There's so much that goes into being successful at this. It's not one thing... it's multiple things that you want to get better at over time. I looked at your diet diary. I'd also try to get a gram of protein per LB of desired body weight a day. So if you're goal is to be say 180 lbs. You need to be close to that in protein consumption each day. Remember the most important part of all of this. It's consistency over time... not perfection. Most people fail at this because we're all so use to instant gratification. This life style change takes time. Something I admire about it so much. Is the fact that you can't buy a healthy body/or desired weight. You have to earn it! Sorry for the length of this but I wanted to be detailed. You can do this but you have to want it. More than anything else in life!
