Still feeling in control of my eating. This morning was really cold again, and I almost skipped my walk, but I saw one of my neighbors and she inspired me to keep going. She's 72 and said she has been walking one hour a day every day for the last 3 years. She said she has lowered her cholesterol and improved her bone density just by walking and without any medications. Exercise is the fountain of youth.
Walking on a beautiful, albeit freezing cold, day like today is such a treat. It gives me time to think about my creative projects. Right now I'm working on a restaurant logo and this is the first time I've felt inspired by a project in a long while. Things are busy, but good. I've been able to sleep at least 6 to 8 hours each night the last week or two and I feel less haggard and aged. The sleep deprivation from last month was killing me.
