If you like planning and organizing, you can plan and schedule out your meals and times to go to the gym. I found planning out my meals and going shopping accordingly is really helping me get through phase 1. A great motivator for me was that I promised myself prizes if I made it through a certain number of days without cheating. For instance, I promised myself a food scale if I made it 4 days without cheating on phase 1. It REALLY helped. When I would want to cheat, I would think about the food scale and then make the right choice. :)
