sigh. Ok. I saw this one coming. I had more than 20NC of beer alone watching football and NASCAR on Sunday and then last night even though they were low carb tortillas, I got suddenly really hungry and ate like three burritos....smothered. Just slightly off the wagon, eh?

BUT, Never fear! I'm going to down the water today, eat right...and less...and watch the beer for sure...I have the past two days but I knew sunday was going to catch up with me...it always seems to have a 24 or 48 hour delay on the scale. I'm thrilled though that I didn't pop back up to 140. I felt stuck at that weight for awhile and now that I'm in the 130's I need to refocus and continue on...and also not beat myself up when I screw up like last night. ...did I mention the bites of ice cream....does it count that it was CarbSmart ice cream? Probably not after 3 smothered burritos.

Thought I better step up and admit my oops! Hopefully I can break even by the official weigh in for the week!

Have a great day all!

You can't drink beer if you don't have any in the house and alcohol is an appetite stimulant which is why we eat when we drink. If you eat nutritionally balanced meal designed for your own personal needs and exercise regularly, you will lose weight and it has a better chance at staying off permanently unless gaining weight is actually your goal as opposed to losing weight.

Oops! I've had days like that too. Put it behind you, get back on the wagon, and move on! :)

Yep...I'm annoyed but not that angry at myself. I haven't been able to eat real food due to dental surgery and last night I think it just tasted so good to be able to eat an entire burrito with all the fixin's that I just went crazy. It's out of my system and now I can start paying attention and watching portions again. I still can't eat hard stuff or anything that I need to really chew like steak...but each day I can take on more and more...so that'll be good. The lack of variety was killing me! I'll get rid of these two pounds though, I'm not concerned....much :P

WOW - those are some comments from Sweetalot. I hope that was sarcasm and not an actual lecture. I think you are doing fine. The important thing is to move in the right direction and not let it get to you. Lifelong habits that you are working towards are not going to be derailed by one day.

We all need a holiday once in a while; when we need it. And realizing when to get back to the track is great self-monitoring. Good going. A beer and some burritos with friends and watching a game sounds like a good time!

Don't worry about it, had my driver still been in the chase, I probably would have had a beer or six myself! I chose to work instead. You have done amazingly well, don't kick yourself, instead, when you fall, get up, brush yourself off, and move on...

Stormi? Who's your driver? Mine is Jr....but I'm big fans of Gordon and Johnson...my boyfriend is a Stewart fan and all we know is we are routing for Kyle Busch NOT to win. heh.

Go Jeff! Geez, I wish he would win another championship! As for your bout with the burritos - gee whiz, you are human like me!!!! I like that in a person - we all have those days - they are called fun times with friends - just blow it off and start again. I really don't like the comment by sweetalot - pretty preachy and judgemental for someone who is also on this site.
