WTF? I've stayed at 20 NC or less and I GAIN 3lbs? This just happened to someone else on here, didn't it? Hmmmmmmmm...must be a conspiracy.

Well, I won't let it get me down. I'm doing the crunch challenge, the walk challenge and the water challenge...so hopefully all will fall into place! I just hope I lose the 3 lbs before our next major weigh in so I don't hurt our precious emeralds! :-)
143.0 lb Lost so far: 10.0 lb.    Still to go: 23.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Ok, before we start blaming our scale of being posessed (though it is still possible) let's think about it. You can't possibly gain 3 lbs of fat over night. Did you have too much salt yesterday? Is TOM coming soon? Did you drink enough water yesterday? maybe too much too soon and your body doesn't know what to do with it all? (are you backed up? don't answer, it's a rhetorical question, lol) You could also be gaining some muscle from all the extra exercising you are doing. Don't worry about the team. We know you're working hard. I'm sure it will be gone soon enough. Stay focused and trust the system.

What? You don't actually WANT an answer to the plumbing issue? Heh. Well, I'm HORRIBLE about drinking water, so I joined that challenge to hopefully help...I don't think I had anything going yesterday than usual...but who knows. Those carbs and sodium are sneaky little devils. "TOM"?!? Heh. I know what that is, but am afraid to ask what the heck it stands for! Actually, No, I'm a lucky girl there. I take Seasonale..so Tom only comes around 4 times a year...it ROCKS! I guess it's just a weird fluke thing. I'm sure things will get back on track. My feet were cramping this morning so maybe I took in even less water this week than I usually do.. I REALLY need to work on that.

I see we're in the same challenges (water/crunch)... Don't worry about your weight.. I've been keepin' my carbs down but if I don't stop eatin' like a freggin' pig, I don't know that I'll see a loss Sunday.. and I HAVEN'T checked, lol.

Well, hopefully we can keep each other in check! I was mad this morning but then realized that my pants weren't necessarily tighter and that scale will go up and down throughout, so instead I took a good walk at lunch and will do my crunches when I get home....if I can, my upper abs are KILLING me! Talk about out of shape! Off to drink another friggin' nasty bottle of water now. sigh. Maybe if I chase it with a diet coke it won't be so bad?!?

YES, it happened to me!!! Were you using my scale? Because that would explain what happened to me, too, then!!!! It just can't be true. I refuse to acknowledge this - and you should too!

acastiglione....a "TOM" is Time Of Month....how could you figure out what it meant but couldn't figure out what it stood for? Oy, that's my sis for ya!

r u really sister's? u both act like it!LOL. Myself I am an eldest of 7 & believe me they know I am the eldest! LOL! . Forget what the scales say & drink the flippin' water... I really helps! I'll b check'n on U! . btw, jokin' aside when I don't eat all the food that keeps me regular I take a softener or something! B careful it can b dangerous! Personal experience! Remember water, water, water! I drink ALOT of crystal light instead --- I know it has bad stuff in it BUT I can only give up so much, ya know!

Hey AC~ Same thing here, stepped on the scale today and put on 2 lbs. WTF is what I say too....I have even been watching my calories as well... I can't go too low on net carbs otherwise I do get sick but still, I have worked out 5 times last week (mainly cardio) and my goal is to do 30 mintues of something 5 days of week and liftig weights 2 times. My offical weigh in is Friday, I'll keep our fingers crossed for both of us Woody

Pretty Face, yep we are really sisters. Twins actually. Surf and Turf, she lives in Hawaii and I'm in Colorado....if we were closer I'd have to kick her ass multiple times a day and I'm not sure I'm up for the all the cardio yet. :-) Well, I'm working on the water thing and I'm signed up for so many frickin' challenges I can't avoid working out at this point! I'm enjoying all this though. My sister made me sign for the track everything challenge, which i'll need to do just to keep it all straight! OY!!! Good luck Woody! Hopefully we'll both befriend our scales again by the end of the week!

AC, you kick my *ss? I'd like to see you try...I'm 40 pounds heavier than you, I'll just sit on you til you stop breathing...but hopefully that will all change and we'll both be up to the challenge of kickin' each other's butt soon. I wouldn't worry about the extra pounds...I just lost 1.8 and I've eaten like 4000 calories a day and my pants are very tight..sometimes the scale just plain lies....
