This stubborn weight! I was sick last week and all that Nyquil and dayquil was bloating me out and throwing my body off. I am also guilty of noshing on weight watcher chocolate rasberry bars, guess I'm not really suprised at this gain. I've GOT TO get myself together. I feel so emotionally deflated and defeated and angry. I have to lose at least 16lbs. I am tired of paying 40 a month to weight watchers. I want to feel good when I wear a swimsuit in Miami...that is only 3 weeks away!! Ok..game plan...I will have 1 all out cheat day a week. The other six days I will commit to eating lean. So, I have 4 days to commit this week and on Sunday I will eat anything I want. Hope I can do it. Slm Wish me luck!
133.8 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 15.8 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I don't know that the cold meds threw you off. Was more likely the fact that you were sick! It is hard to feel the courage to stick to your diet when you are not feeling 100%. I don't pay to go to meetings and I don't buy specialty brand foods much. There are so many healthy choices out there, you don't need to pay premium prices for a "diet" brand! And if you have all the books and know how to follow the diet, you don't need to keep going to meetings unless you really need the motivation to stay accountable at the weigh-ins. Do you have a friend you could use as your overseer who you could weigh-in each week with? You are allowed extra POINTS each week (I hear it's 35 on the new plan!) so go ahead and allow yourself a reward day. Just don't go helter skelter and forget to count your POINTS. Even though 35 may seem like a lot, you could still go over if you chose a few decadent treats too many. And that way you will know it was "allowed" and not have to feel guilty about it! If your weight loss slows down signicantly you can try to cut back a little on your reward day so you know how much you can have and still lose the weight you want. By my standards you are slim already so be proud of where you are. Losing the weight in your mind is always harder than anywhere else! You can do it!

You don't have to give up real chocolate if you can control yourself (sometimes it is better to not have it in the house if you know you will be tempted to eat it all at once!). I know that dark chocolate is good for you as well as tasty. I don't care for the really dark stuff (80 or 90% cocoa) but love the regular dark chocolate. I splurge on a large bar of Lindt dark chocolate and break it up into the individual pieces. One square is 1 POINT and it is so creamy and yummy that I can enjoy one piece and satisfy my craving. I never chew it, I let it melt on my tongue so it lasts longer and because it is the higher quality stuff it is so creamy and smooth.

Actually, lol I was going to say what evelyn did before I read the last post. Dark chocolate is fairly good for you and not that many points. I'd try that. You could have 1 a day and a bar could last you all week!
