Down 2 1/2 pounds! I kind of like this once-a-week weigh-in thing. I actually did a sneak preview yesterday and came in at 219.5. I knew that was a negative spike, but that spike means that it is in my inevitable future. Did not run yesterday or this morning. I still have that immensely uncomfortable pain in my quads from going anerobic on my excursion Wednesday morning. I should have known better; I felt I was pushing it a bit at the time. Oh well; I've been down this road before; it takes 3 or 4 days for the pain to subside, and then when I do it again, I will be stronger, go faster, and live happily ever after without any pain. :D I have an interesting observation to share with you, that I experience about this time every year. Now, my wife complains that her legs hurt everytime she walks even the distance of one block. And she'll agitate the daylights out of me by directing me to ride around the Walmart parking lot until we find a space that is one car closer to the entrance - even if it takes an extra 5 minutes. How is it, that when I go shopping with her, she can walk and shop for 8 straight hours, and I am the one that is looking for a bench to sit down in every store we visit? I am an analytical kind of guy, but I can't figure it out. - "A wise man once said 'I don't know, go ask a woman'."
