Omgoodness...the last time I tried losing weight, I mean a good effort when my middle child was around 2. I felt like I was killing myself, starving all the time and just struggling. I thought something was wrong that it was taking so much effort. I managed to get to 238-239 and I stalled. I was stalled for a long time before I gave up. I tried again and this time I got a gym membership and a trainer. It took 3 months to lose 7lbs...by that time I really thought something was wrong and I just couldn't release fat. These are just two struggles. I have been trying for 12 yrs to lose weight. I struggled with 40lbs during my teen years and my mother was no help telling me I was big boned and didn't need to lose weight. I was 16 and weighed 180lbs. I remember the fat rolls on my stomach and love handles. The last time I wore a medium I was 14! Here I can barely fathom getting back into a large! I just want to be healthy...I want to wear a bikini and rock it! I know it sounds vain, but I want to look good in my opinion. I'm not looking for stick figure, I love the curves my fat is hiding...I've been close to goal 13 yrs ago. I was so close then I got pregnant and packed on around 80lbs! I am finally working on that old 12year old pregnancy weight since I've hit 235. 235 is a big deal to me...it shows what I am doing is working. It's called Trim Healthy Mama. It works and after the sugar is out of your system you start to feel amazing. My moods are better! Even though it has"mama" in the title it's for everyone! The sisters that wrote it spent 5 years researching. They even mention Gary Taubes...he's worth looking up on YouTube and worth reading his books! I think I am done for now! 235.8 lb Lost so far: 20.2 lb.    Still to go: 75.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
