don't understand the lack of progress

Well your diet calendar has a lot of "poorlys" on it. They say losing weight is aobut 80% diet and 20% percent exercise. You need to take a look at your diet and get that in under control first. You need to find the right amount of calories that will help you lose. The less you weigh and the less calories you need to help you lose. You might try a wee of 1400 a day and see what happens. But focus on staying on track. Track all your food honestly. Focus on lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. Processed foods (anything packaged or canned) contains tons of sodium, so you may want to eat less of those. You get more bang for your buck with whole foods. Plan a treat into your diet daily so you don't feel deprived. Good fats like avocado and peanut butter can help you lose weight. Protein also helps you lose fat. Going off and on plan can also stop you from losing. Consistency is key with weight loss. Plan out your food for the day. Pack it in a cooler so you have everything you need all day (if you work). Some great sites: Cookinglight.com, Skinnytaste.com, and Emilybites.com Pinterest also has good recipes. You can find lower caloric recipes for the crockpot, so when you get home, your dinner is ready. If you don't have a lot to lose, you may need to be strict with your diet and exercise to get it off.
