That's a ripper meal for so few calories! How many grams of salmon? Congratulations on breaking the 86kg barrier.

I'm eating the wrong salmon... a single 115g portion of Aldi Salmon (skin on) is only slightly less at 262 calories... do you buy from a fishmongers? I also bump my salmon meals with a plate of steamed mixed veg (including zucc, broccoli, carrot, Brussels sprouts) and 1/2 cup of cooked Basmati rice... I still need the volume of food to stop me looking for snacks after my meals, but I'd happily swap out some of the veg/rice for more salmon and the same calories 🤤

My Salmon was skin on. I went with what was on the nutrition label and cross referenced to this app. I do most measurements this way. Pretty sure if the salmon was higher in calories I would still eat it.

Thanks Dave 👍 I'm with you there... before I started this lifestyle change I only ate salmon from a tin. Once I started looking to boost my protein from a variety of sources, I found the fresh Salmon fillets and now they are on my my meal plan four times a month... but after reading your post I'm going to check out some other brands!! Those nutritional labels are there for us to use... and I am still learning 🖐️
