I have to say I’m totally frustrated and confused by this. I’ve eaten under 1500 calories and walked at least an hour every day burning around 600 calories during each work out. So I really have no idea how this has gone up. 🤔 Time to check the measurements 🤦🏻‍♀️
230.2 lb Lost so far: 16.3 lb.    Still to go: 64.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 1.1 lb a week

Yes I don’t understand that myself maybe if it stayed even I could maybe understand that but putting on weight confuses me When was your last weigh in because if it’s one day it’s possible

I’ve just looked and it’s been 7 days so it seems there’s something wrong unless you went out and forgot

It's just normal weight fluctuation due to hormones and liquid retention do not overthink it

Will take your advice and not overthink it. 😊 Thank you both 😀

also remember that your bmr changes with the weight change. I recalculate it every Saturday which is when my dieting week starts. So for example mine was 1745 two weeks ago and now it's 1720. it's not a lot of change but I've only lost 2 kilos as I have just started. If you have lost 7 kilos yours might have changed more.

Razor123ray - no I haven’t eaten out since I started, no cookies, no cakes, high calorie meals 🤷🏻‍♀️I guess I will see what happens next week.

My BMR is definitely changing but still not anywhere as low as 1500 calories. Most days I am eating about 1100 calories plus I’m burning 600 calories in my daily walk. I am weighing and journaling my food so I know what I’m eating. Oh well I won’t despair as I know what I’m doing exercise wise is making me feel good and I lost a couple of inches this week. Thank you so much for support and guidance 😍

yeah don't worry about it, weight is not a simple equation as some fitness bros want us to think :) it's not just calories in and calories out. There are a lot of things in play, and most of them we can't handle easily (thyroid hormones, insulin, liquid retention, etc). Last week I put on weight for a few days in a row, and then lost it all at once, and this week I'm just maintaining, but I know it's probably because I'm weighing myself everyday (which I shouldn't do but the scales are there next to the shower so I do it before I shower in the morning)

Losing weight is not a problem and I weigh every day too I just don’t log it my weight is 76.1kg today but my concern is in the 4-6 weeks between now and me reaching my final goal weight do I need to change what I eat or tweak it then I’m pretty much thinking wait until I get there

Thanks for posting this. I have just started on here and I'm just sticking to my normal everyday diet, but like you I have increased my exercise and the amount of calories I burn. I'm not looking to loose a lot of weight (8lb) I just want to get a bit slimmer. Information like this really helps me (and probably others) I hope things work out for you. Best wishes

@razor123ray it's amazing to see your progress! I have just started so I know I don't even know when my goal weight date will be. For now I just want to lose a bit of weight to appease my PCOS and hypothyroidism symptoms. Then I'll see. I'm going very slowly just about a kilo per week even though I'm following my diet 100% percent. I'll start adding more exercise as well when the pool near me opens.

I’d suggest to increase calorie intake to 1700. My starting weight was 104kg, I was starving if I ate less than 1800cals. My body was stressed out and I was actually gaining weight. Reduce calories gradually, I hope this could help.

It can be actually everything, human body is so weird 😅 it might be too low calories for a day, stress, period, water in system... i know how annoying it is when ure doing 1000% and scale is playing around! Im sure uve got some measurements down! 💪💪💪 keep it up! Great work!

Thank you everyone it’s been extremely useful to read your comments and suggestions. I increased my calories and slightly decreased the amount of time I was working out and lost 1.5kgs this week. I think my body wash saying - she’s starving me! 🤣
