Looks like I dropped another pound! I'm at 11lbs and not even a week, I started off losing 3 pounds a day but seems like I'm slowing down and dropping 1 pound a day. I looked into what could be the possibility and according to a video I saw the nutritionist mentioned that sometimes by cutting too many calories your body might not burn enough fat. Which the last few days Ive consumed much less calories than I did the first 3 days which I would average about 1800 but dropped down to 1300. So I'm thinking about adding the extra 500 cals back up, anyone have any experience with this?

When you start dieting you usually drop some water weight. So the really big results early on are due to that. It is not reasonable to expect to lose a lot of actual fat every day.

The first week you will lose a lot of weight, then is going to be one pound per week or so. It also depends on how much you eat or how active you are.

1300 is not enough for your weight. now I can lose weight with 1200 calories but my weight is 100 lb.

Water weighs a crazy ton. And once you stop reaching for the salty chips and processed or fast foods you will see big drops right away. A pound a day is still a lot of weight. I started out in August at 271 and after 4 months I've dropped 52 lbs. That first week I lost quite a lot just by laying off the chips, cheese, and pre-made items, but after that, I've averaged about 2 pounds a week weight loss. This is ok with me as I have so much to lose to get to normal and I didn't want to have to starve myself for a year to get there. I think you're doing alright, but 1300 calories is a big change for a big guy. I, personally, think it's more important to find a calorie intake that you are able to maintain, especially if you have a lot of weight to drop, than to have big drops week to week. I didn't put in my real goal weight only 30 lbs at a time I think seems more realistic and easier and quicker to achieve . Just a thought 😉

I've been going to the gym and using their elliptical for about an hour, my diet is no junk food, no fast food, no dairy, limited starches. For breakfast I eat egg whites, chopped green peppers, diced onions, lean turkey slices. i top it off with a whole avocado since Dr. says I need healthy fats in my diet, then for a snack, I'll eat an orange. Lunch, is chicken salad, for dinner frozen mixed veggies with grilled chicken then if I'm still hungry later on the night Ill eat an apple or banana with almond milk. this has been my diet for the past 5 days
